

These go very well with seasonal vegetables
and diced chicken or turkey.
Serves 4

| 1 | tsp | butter | |
| 1 | small onion | chop finely and sauté in the butter until soft | |
| 600 | ml | stock | pour over sautéd onions |
| 300 | g | Zwicky millet flakes | add and mix in well, allow to cool |
| 2 | eggs | stirred | |
| 100 | g | Gruyere | grated, mix with the eggs and add to the rest |
| herb salt, pepper | add to taste and leave for flavours to blend for a few minutes | ||
| with wet hands, form patties | |||
| butter | melt in a frying pan and fry patties on both sides until golden |
You can add any finely chopped seasonal vegetables or mushrooms and even finely chopped fresh herbs to the millet mix.
You can also make the patties with Zwicky 5 grain flakes or rolled oats.
The patties go particularly well with a tomato sauce: sauté a small onion with some butter, add a tin of chopped tomatoes and bind with some tomato purée, then add salt, pepper, thyme, rosemary, marjoram and oregano to taste. Scrumptious!
